IF ONLY WE HAD A GOAL KICKER !!? If only we had Botica back OR i would settle for any one of the goaltakers in other sport Rugby Union they plonk them over from anywhere but in league cawnt kisck goals for toffee !!Very lucky again last night , different story but for lack of conversions Still not firing on all cylinders .G.B.

Could it be they share it depending on where the try was scored….not great really…Smith is a good kicker but poor when it’s crucial….that drop goal was a pure 8 iron

Next staurday's match is a crucial one for Wigan at the Catalan Dragons ,we really could do with a win there as Saints play Castleford on Friday so i think they will get the 2 points , then as i say it's Wigan next day ,finishing second is vital . So come on lads and let's have an herculean effort . G.B.

I went to that R.L.Challenge Cup Simi- against Warrington Owd Codger it was in 1989 at Maine Road ,i took my youngest daughter to that game what a drop goal sheer brilliance!!! That was when rugby was rugby too !!G.B.
